Let the insanity begin!
This weekend, I am participating in the 3 Day Novel Contest. That’s right. In just 3 days time, I will have to write a complete novel. I know it’s crazy - heck, maybe even unlikely, but I’m going to give it a whirl.
The way it works is this: you start at 12am on Friday and write your butt off until midnite Monday. 72 hours to write a novel from start to finish. It isn’t against the rules to outline, so I’m outlining mainly to get a feel for how much ground I need to cover each day. Most entries are roughly a hundred pages and I think I can pull that off.
The big question is what to write about, but I’ve some ideas brewing for a while now, so I’m set. It’ll be interesting to see how I perform under that much pressure. It costs $50 to enter but the grand prize is having your novel published, so I’m gonna go for it.
